Samuel Johnson (you know who he is, right) said once that, "much of life to be endured, little to be enjoyed." Well, I don't believe that. Much more of life can be enjoyed if we follow a few dictates:

1. Make sure that your career choice has the ability to shoot you out of bed every morning with the anticipation of making the world a little bit better. The possibilities are endless.

2. Make sure that your mate has, as their underlying purpose in life, the desire to let you attain your highest and best.

3. If you have children, make sure that at an early age you teach them to be self-governing.

4. Buy a home so that all the above can be accomplished. A home is the center of the universe and what is done there for good has eternal consequences.
